UPSC CDS-II Recruitment 2026 : Answer Key

For IMA & OTA: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream. For Naval Academy: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. For Air Force: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream, but should have studied Physics and Math in 10+2. For more details read the official notification before applying

• IMA- Date of Birth: 01 July 2003 से 01 July 2008 के बीच
• Indian Naval Academy- Date of Birth: 01 July 2003 से 01 July 2008 के बीच
• Air Force Academy- Date of Birth: 01 July 2003 से 01 July 2007 के बीच, Valid/current Commercial Pilot Licence (DGCA India) रखने वाले candidates के लिए upper age 26 years तक
• OTA – SSC Men- Date of Birth: 01 July 2002 से 01 July 2008 के बीच
• OTA – SSC Women-  Date of Birth: 01 July 2002 से 01 July 2008 के बीच

Physical Eligibility

Candidate को CDS Examination-II 2026 के लिए निर्धारित physical standards के अनुसार physically fit होना आवश्यक है। विस्तृत standards notification के Appendix-III में दिए गए हैं।

Selection Process

Written Examination → SSB Interview/Intelligence & Personality Test → Medical Fitness → Final Merit/Selection

• Written Examination
• Written exam में qualifying candidates को Services Selection Board (SSB) के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।
• SSB में intelligence और personality tests होंगे।
• SSB selection two-stage procedure पर आधारित है।
• Final selection merit, medical fitness, suitability और available vacancies के आधार पर होगा।

Exam Pattern

IMA / INA / Air Force Academy

• English: 100 Marks – 2 Hours
• General Knowledge: 100 Marks – 2 Hours
• Elementary Mathematics: 100 Marks – 2 Hours
• Written Exam Total: 300 Marks
• SSB/Interview: 300 Marks
• Final Total: 600 Marks

OTA

• English: 100 Marks – 2 Hours
• General Knowledge: 100 Marks – 2 Hours
• Written Exam Total: 200 Marks
• SSB/Interview: 200 Marks
• Final Total: 400 Marks

Exam Type

• सभी papers Objective Type होंगे।
• General Knowledge और Elementary Mathematics के question papers Hindi और English दोनों में होंगे।
• Elementary Mathematics का standard Matriculation level होगा।
• अन्य subjects का standard लगभग Indian University graduate level का होगा।

Negative Marking

Objective type question papers में wrong answers के लिए negative marking होगी।

How to Apply

• आवेदन केवल Online माध्यम से करना है।
• UPSC Online Application Portal पर पहले registration करना होगा।
• Universal Registration Number (URN) generate होगा।
• इसके बाद Common Application Form (CAF) और Examination Specific Module complete करना होगा।
• Examination Specific Module में fee और examination centre आदि details भरनी होंगी।
• आवश्यक information और supporting documents उपलब्ध कराना जरूरी है।

Documents / Upload Details

• Photograph
• Live Photograph
• Signature
• Date of Birth related details
• Educational Qualification details
• Photo ID details
• अन्य required supporting documents

Signature को plain white paper पर black ink से तीन बार एक के नीचे एक करके sign करके upload करना है।

Photo ID

Valid Photo ID के रूप में इनमें से किसी का details दिया जा सकता है:

• Aadhaar Card
• Voter Card (EPIC)
• PAN Card
• Passport
• Driving Licence
• State/Central Government द्वारा issued अन्य Photo ID

UPSC ने Aadhaar को easy verification और authentication के लिए strongly advise किया है।

Important Instructions

• Application submit करने के बाद withdrawal की अनुमति नहीं है।
• Application form submit होने के बाद correction/alteration/modification की अनुमति नहीं है।
• Service preference carefully भरनी होगी।
• कम से कम एक preference देना mandatory है।
• Air Force Academy को preference देने पर AFA को first choice रखना जरूरी है; अन्य position पर AFA choice invalid मानी जाएगी।
• Women candidates केवल OTA के लिए considered हैं और उन्हें OTA को only choice रखना है।

Examination Centre

Notification में कुल 84 examination centres दिए गए हैं। इनमें Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra, Aligarh, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Meerut आदि centres शामिल हैं। Centre allotment first-apply-first-allot basis पर है और capacity पूरी होने के बाद centre freeze हो सकता है।

Admit Card

• e-Admit Card online जारी किया जाएगा।
• Admit Card post या email से नहीं भेजा जाएगा।
• इसे UPSC Online portal से download करना होगा।
• Examination से पहले निर्धारित समय पर e-Admit Card उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा।

Examination Day Important Rules

• OMR में केवल Black Ball Pen इस्तेमाल करना है।
• Pencil या अन्य colour pen allowed नहीं है।
• Mobile phone, smartwatch, Bluetooth device, camera, pager, pen drive आदि prohibited हैं।
• Examination centre पर entry examination शुरू होने से 30 minutes पहले बंद हो जाएगी।
• Examination venue पर face authentication mandatory है।
