Short Notice :- Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) ने JMGS-I Scale में Local Bank Officer के 250 पदों पर भर्ती के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं। चयनित उम्मीदवारों की नियुक्ति उनके द्वारा चुने गए राज्य में की जाएगी। उम्मीदवार केवल एक राज्य की vacancy के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं और संबंधित राज्य की स्थानीय भाषा में पढ़ने, लिखने एवं बोलने की proficiency आवश्यक है।

Eligibility / Qualification Details

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate showing that he/she is a graduate on the date of online registration.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must have proficiency in Reading, Writing and Speaking of the local language of the State applied for.

Minimum Age: 20 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Date of Birth: Candidate must have been born between 02/08/1996 and 01/08/2006 (both dates inclusive).

Candidates can apply online only through the official Indian Overseas Bank website. Visit the IOB official website and go to the Careers section. Select “Recruitment of Local Bank Officers – 2026-27” and complete the online registration process. Candidates should carefully fill in all required details, upload the required documents and submit the application before the last date. Indian Overseas Bank has released the recruitment notification for Local Bank Officers 2026-27 for 250 vacancies in JMGS-I. Vacancies are available in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Candidates can apply for only one State and must possess proficiency in the specified local language of that State. Selection Process: Online Examination → Language Proficiency Test (where applicable) → Personal Interview. Online Examination: 140 Questions, 200 Marks, 3 Hours. Final Selection Weightage: Online Examination 80% + Personal Interview 20%. Selected candidates will be posted in the State selected by them, subject to the rules mentioned in the official notification.
