High Court of Judicature at Patna has invited online applications for the Ex-Cadre Assistant Recruitment Examination, 2026 under Advertisement No. PHC/03/2026. A total of 68 vacancies are available for the post of Ex-Cadre Assistant (Group-C) in Level-4 of the 7th PRC Pay Matrix with a pay scale of ₹25,500–₹81,100 plus admissible allowances. Eligible candidates must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution along with a Diploma/Certificate of at least six months’ course in Computer Application from a recognized institution. Online applications can be submitted from 28 July 2026 to 27 August 2026, while the last date for online fee payment is 30 August 2026. The examination date will be notified later.

Eligibility / Qualification Details
  • Candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution and must possess a Diploma/Certificate of at least six months’ course in Computer Application from a recognized institution as on 01.01.2026.
  • Candidates must satisfy the prescribed nationality, age, category and other eligibility conditions mentioned in the notification.

The Ex-Cadre Assistant Recruitment Examination, 2026 is conducted by the High Court of Judicature at Patna for appointment to 68 Ex-Cadre Assistant (Group-C) posts in Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100) of the 7th PRC Pay Matrix. The appointment is initially on one-year probation. Candidates must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution along with a Diploma/Certificate of at least six months’ course in Computer Application from a recognized institution. Selection comprises Preliminary/Screening Test (if required), Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test and Interview. The Preliminary Test, if conducted, will only be used for shortlisting and its marks will not be counted in the final merit. Final merit will be prepared on the basis of Written Test and Interview marks, subject to qualifying all prescribed stages and the applicable reservation policy. The High Court reserves the right to modify vacancies, examination scheme and qualifying marks as per the conditions mentioned in the advertisement.
